Shreyas Iyer has been hot and cold for the national team, especially after his return from an injury. He is a part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy India side facing Australia in the four-match Tes series, and will also hope to make an appearance against the visitors in the upcoming ODI series.
But before that, the middle-order batter had some fun with his international team skipper Rohit Sharma while attending the pre-wedding ceremonies together in Mumbai.
The right-handed batter shared a post on Instagram with a very unique caption that has caught the eye of cricket fans in India. Iyer captioned the post, 'Worli ke chapri', with the post now going viral as the players seem happy together.

Iyer and Rohit both are from Mumbai and have played a lot of first-class and international cricket together. While Rohit Sharma also captains Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Shreyas Iyer is the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Shardul Thakur is one of a number of Indian cricketers to get hitched during the ongoing wedding season. It started with KL Rahul, who finally tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Athiya Shetty, with Hardik Pandya also marrying Natasha Stankovic in a classy ceremony on Valentine's Day.
Axar Patel also got married to his fiancee Meha Patel in a wedding ceremony in Vadodara while India were thrashing New Zealand in their limited-overs T20I and ODI series.

Iyer and Rohit will now fly to Indore as the long break between the four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy comes to an end. India and Australia will renew their rivalries on March 1, as Rohit Sharma will hope to lead his side to yet another Border-Gavaskar Trophy victory at home.
