Confident Rohit Sharma's brigade will lock horns with Australia in the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Friday (February 16) after bulldozing the visitors in the Border-Gavaskar series opener. India will look to tighten the grip on the series as they already lead the series 1-0.
Meanwhile, ahead of the second Test against Australia, India changed their hotel in Delhi last minute owing G20 Summit and marriage season, which led to a dearth of bulk five-star hotel rooms being booked. India usually stays in Taj Palace or ITC Maurya in Delhi, this time around they couldn't get a stay in those hotels and are staying in Hotel Leela in Karkarduma.
It was also learnt that start India batter Virat Kohli is not staying with the rest of his teammates. As Kohli belong to Delhi, this time around he decided to spend some time with his family members in town and is staying their house in Gurugram.
Kohli has turned to the legendary Rahul Dravid for some special training ahead of the second Test match in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Delhi. After a horror show in the first Test match in Nagpur, Kohli requested Dravid to help him improve his skills in the fielding department. Team India has already taken the lead in the series and will be confident enough to win the next match too.
Talking about the first match, India posted 400 runs in the first innings of the opening Test against Australia, but Kohli failed to score big as he continues to long standing quest of a Test ton. He could only score 12 runs off of 26 balls. Merely two sessions of play were needed to achieve a result on the third day of the first Test as India took a 1-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur. After stretching their lead to over 200 runs, India bowled out Australia for 91 in about a session to win the Test by innings and 132 runs.
