The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is finally around the corner with India taking on Australia in a four-match Test series, starting in Nagpur on Thursday, February 9. This will be followed by a three-match ODI series as both teams start building their best squads for the 2023 ODI World Cup, which will also be hosted by India.
India miraculously won their last home Test series in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, as well as the last edition of the competition, and all eyes will once again be on Rohit Sharma and his boys, with the skipper taking charge of this series for the first time ever.
Ahead of Day 1 of the first Test we take a look at the schedules for the respective Test and ODI series between India and Australia.

2nd Test: February 17 to 21, Delhi — 9.30 am
3rd Test: March 1 to 5, Dharamsala — 9.30 am

The side have been bolstered with the return of Ravindra Jadeja after five months, but the injury-plagued international career of Shreyas Iyer continues as the batter is ruled out for the first Test. Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Suryakumar Yadav, who is expected to make his Test debut

Australia have been hit in the pace department, with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood ruled for the first Test. While Starc is expected to return for Test no. 2, Hazlewood remains doubtful. Another injury on this list is all-rounder Cameron Green, who might not bowl during this series.
