Ravindra Jadeja was the hero for India on Day 1 of their first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy when he bagged five wickets to reduce the Australians to just 177 runs in Nagpur on Thursday.
With Alex Carey and Peter Handscomb batting for Australia and the score reading 120-5, Jadeja came in for his 16th over having already taken three wickets.
The TV broadcast shows Jadeja appearing to either take something from Siraj, which he then rubs on his spinning finger.

The owner of the account that Tweeted the video tagged former captain Tim Paine, who found the video 'interesting'.
Even former England captain Michael Vaughan could not keep away from the controversial incident.
"What is it he is putting on his spinning finger? Never ever seen this …" He said about the video.
There are also contradictory reports that state that Jadeja was just applying ointment on his sore finger.
Jadeja first got the dangerous Marnus Labuschange's wicket, after he was stumped by debutant KS Bharat. He was Australia's highest run-getter with 49 runs in 123 balls. In the very next ball, Jadeja got the wicket of Matt Renshaw for a golden duck.
Smith soon followed after being clean bowled for 37 runs off 107 balls, and then Peter Handscomb (31 off 84) was sent back to the pavilion. The 34-year-old completed his five-wicket haul after dismissing debutant Todd Murphy once again for a duck. and made a strong comeback after conceding just 47 runs in 22 overs.
But the video surfaced on the internet after stumps on Day 1, creating a massive furore among the Australian fans who have quite some experience in ball tampering.
Jadeja, returning to international cricket after almost five months, led the charge for the bowlers, with Ravichandran Ashwin bagging three more and Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj taking a wicket each.
Day 1 wrapped up with India in charge with the bat as well, with openers Rohit Sharma finishing the day with an unbeaten 56 runs in 69 balls. KL Rahul (20 off 710) was the only batter to lose his wicket, after being caught and bowled by Australian debutant Todd Murphy.
