Cricket South Africa (CSA) on September 17 (Sunday) shared a heartwarming tribute video for one of their superstar cricketers, Quinton de Kock, who featured in his last international ODI match at home. The wicketkeeper-batter had earlier announced a shock retirement from ODI cricket on the same day when the Proteas' World Cup squad was revealed. The 30-year-old is part of South Africa's World Cup squad and the tournament in India will be his last in ODI cricket.

As De Kock featured in his last ODI on home soil on Sunday, the CSA found an opportune moment to appreciate the left-handed batter's contribution to the team's success in ODIs.

The left-handed stylish batter scored 27 runs off 39 balls with the help of four boundaries before getting dismissed by Nathan Ellis in the fifth and final ODI of the series against Australia.
