All eyes are on on India's squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 which is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 9.
India's Champions Trophy squad to be announced on January 11
Meanwhile, Sports Tak has learnt that the deadline for the teams to submitting their respective squads for the Champions Trophy 2025 is January 12. It has also been learnt that India's squad for the marquee tournament is likely to be announced on January 11.
The highly anticipated ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played in hybrid model, is set to return after an eight-year absence, featuring eight teams competing in 15 matches. ICC recently announced the Champions Trophy 2025 schedule, including the exciting group stage clash between India and Pakistan on February 23 in Dubai.
The eight participating teams will be divided into two groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals. This round-robin format will determine the finalists, with the tournament kicking off on February 19 and concluding on March 9.
Notably, India will start their Champions Trophy campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh. But all eyes will be hooked on the high-octane drama between India and Pakistan which is slated to be played on February 23 in Dubai.
The semi-finals will be held on March 4 and 5 respectively followed by the grand finale on March 9. In case India mange to make it to the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal and final, it will be played in Dubai. If they fail to reach the knock outs, it will Pakistan's Gaddafi Stadium which will host the matches as per the hybrid model.
