PCB are the hosts of Champions Trophy 2025.

Former England speedster Ryan Sidebottom believes that the hosts Pakistan are the favourites to win the Champions Trophy 2025. The Champions Trophy is scheduled to start from February 19 which will be hosted by Pakistan as they were the defending Champions of the tournament.

Ryan Sidebottom reckons that home advantage will make Pakistan one of the top contenders to win the Champions Trophy 2025.

"Pakistan will have an advantage of home conditions and are among the favourites for the tournament," Sidebottom said as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

However, he made it clear that his support remains with his home team. "As an Englishman, I will support the England team," he added.

Ryan Sidebottom also opened up on Pakistan's bowling strength ahead of the mega event which is scheduled to start from February 19.

"If Pakistani bowlers work harder, they can achieve great success," he said. He also expressed admiration for legendary pacer Wasim Akram, stating, "I am a fan of Wasim Akram and have learned a lot from him."

Sidebottom, who arrived in Pakistan last Friday, is currently working as a bowling coach in a private cricket training program aimed at developing young talent. The initiative is focusing on under-17 and under-19 players.

Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place in a hybrid model where India will play all their matches in Dubai. Apart from India matches, the state in UAE will also host one of the semifinals and the venue for the final depends upon India's chances. If India qualifies for the final it will take place in Dubai. Otherwise, Pakistan will host the title decider or March 6.
