The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 which is scheduled to start from February 19. Rohit Sharma will lead India in the marquee event where India will play their opener clash against Bangladesh on February 20. 

Jasprit Bumrah who was India's vice-captain in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has been included in the squad. The vice-captain for the Champions Trophy 2025 will be Shubman Gill. Apart from the vice-captain, there was a debate for wicketkeeper batters between Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant. Pant will feature for India in the Rohit Sharma-led side.

India's schedule for Champions Trophy 2025

India have been placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand. India will start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai. Their next clash is against arch-rivals Pakistan on February 23. After a long break, India will lock horns with New Zealand on March 2. 

Champions Trophy 2025 knockout schedule

The semifinals will be played on March 4 and 5. The final is scheduled to take place on March 9. The venue for the final will be dependent on whether India qualifies or not. If India reaches the final, it will be played in Dubai. If India gets knocked out at the group stage or in the semifinals, the final will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
