India's Champions Trophy 2025-winning captain Rohit Sharma became the no.3 ranked ODI batter after his 76-run knock in the final against New Zealand. Rohit went past South Africa's Heinrich Klaasen and teammate Virat Kohli with 756 rating points, only 14 shy of Pakistan's Babar Azam.

Rohit's opening partner Shubman Gill holds the top spot with 784 rating points. The only other change in top 10 was New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell gaining one place to take sixth place after a patient fifty in the final. Shreyas Iyer is the only other Indian in the side. Iyer was India's top run-scorer in the tournament.

Big leap for Ravindra

New Zealand's young batting all-rounder Rachin Ravindra who won the 'Player of the series' award went up 14 places to take the 14th spot. As a result, India's new designated finisher slipped to the 16th place, just above recently retired Steve Smith.

Santner, Kuldeep and Jadeja rise

There were a few changes in top 10 bowler's rankings. New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner climbed six places to take the second spot, just behind first-ranked Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana. India's left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was rewarded for his two crucial scalps in the final. Kuldeep jumped three places to occupy the third spot.

Kuldeep is followed by South Africa's Keshav Maharaj and Namibia's Bernand Scholtz. New Zealand pacer Matt Henry who missed out on the final due to shoulder injury slipped three places to sixth position. Henry was the highest wicket-taker in Champions Trophy 2025.
