As cricket returns to Commonwealth Games (CWG) after a gap of 24 years, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will go up against each other on July 31. As expected, the tickets have already been sold out as Harmanpreet Kaur chase medal at the Birmingham CWG 2022.

The match will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Both the teams are in Group A and it will be their second clash of the tournament respectively.
The India vs Pakistan match will begin at 4:30 PM (IST). The live broadcast will be available on Sony Sports Network and DD Sports whereas the live streaming will be available on the Sony LIV app.

So far, India and Pakistan have take on each other 11 times in women's T20Is. India have won nine of these clashes whereas Pakistan have emerged victoriously in two games.
First and last T20I clash
The first T20I between the two was played in T20 World Cup 2009 when India won by five wickets while chasing a low score of 76. The previous clash between the two was in World Cup 2018 where India won the game by seven wickets while chasing a target of 137. Pakistan’s two wins came in 2012 and 2016.

Two Indian players Pooja Vastrakar and Sabbhineni Meghana have tested positive for Covid-19. There is a big question mark over their participation in the mega event.
