India wicketkeeper batter Dhruv Jurel who is currently featuring in the Duleep Trophy 2024 picked a nearly impossible catch behind the wickets during India A vs India B opener clash at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He helped India A to get the first breakthrough by picking Abhimanyu Easwaran's catch.
After being asked to bat, India B Both openers struggled against the challenging spell from India A’s pace trio: Khaleel Ahmed, Akash Deep, and Avesh Khan. In the 13th over, bowled by Avesh, Easwaran made an unusual decision to drive at a delivery well outside off stump. The ball caught the edge of his bat and flew towards the slip cordon. Dhruv Jurel showcased remarkable reflexes as he dived sharply in front of the first slip fielder, narrowly avoiding a collision with the second slip, to secure the catch. This dismissal left India B at 33/1 after the first hour of play.

At this point of time, India B have lost seven wickets Musheer Khan and Navdeep Saini are playing for India B where Musheer scored 39 runs. India A bowlers are dominating in the the game at this point of time. Jaiswal-led side are looking for a big partnership to score a big total. The game is in favour of the bowling side.
Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant who featured in red-ball cricket after 620 days also failed to perform. He was off to the mark with a boundary but got out after scoring just seven runs off ten balls. Apart from Jaiswal and Musheer no other batter managed to score more than 30 runs.
