Harry Brook appointed as England's white ball vice captain.

England are currently preparing for the white ball series against India.

The England Cricket Board (ECB) has appointed Harry Brook as their vice-captain for the limited-over side ahead of the upcoming white ball series against India. Jos Buttler-led England are currently in India preparing for the 1st T20I which is scheduled to start from January 22. England is scheduled to play a five-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series against India. 

Brook will be seen in action for England during the upcoming five T20Is and three-match ODIs against India which will be the last assignment for both sides before the Champions Trophy 2025.

After finishing the white ball series, both India and England will travel to Dubai and Pakistan respectively for the Champions Trophy. The Champions Trophy will start from February 19 and the final will take place on March 9 where Rohit Sharma-led India will start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. On the other hand, England will face their Ashes rivals Australia in their opening clash of the tournament.

Brook is named in England's (against India and Champions Trophy) squads. The batter's last white ball outing came in September 29, 202,4 where he was the stand-in skipper and scored 72 runs. However, Australia won that match by 49 runs (DLS method).
