Three uncapped players who made it to India's Test squad for England tour
Three uncapped players have been included in India's Test squad for the England tour which is slated to start from June 20

BCCI announced 18-member India's Test squad for the upcoming England tour which is studded with three uncapped players. Let's have a look at them:

Sai Sudharsan, already a capped player in white-ball cricket, has received his maiden call-up to the Test squad. This inclusion seemed likely following Rohit Sharma's retirement from Test cricket. Furthermore, Sudharsan is currently in excellent form, holding the Orange Cap in the ongoing IPL 2025.

Arshdeep Singh has earned his maiden call-up to the Test squad. A regular in T20Is and with experience in ODIs, Arshdeep could emerge as India's surprise package during the tour.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has once again been included in the Test squad, though he remains uncapped at this level. Having previously been part of the touring party for the Australia series, Easwaran will be hoping to finally earn his maiden Test cap in England.

Shubman Gill has been appointed India's new Test captain after Rohit Sharma's retirement from the longest format of the game

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant will be Shubman Gill's deputy in the five-match Test series against England
