Cummins arrived at the famous Sabarmati Riverfront early in the morning with representatives from the International Cricket Council (ICC) and boarded the "Akshar River Cruise," a floating restaurant, for a trophy photoshoot in the river.

"It is a matter of great pride for all of us that the ICC selected the Sabarmati Riverfront, an iconic place, for its official photoshoot. Cummins gave various poses with the trophy on the upper deck of the cruise. He was also served a variety of food items," said Suhag Modi, director of Akshar Travels Pvt Ltd, which operates the cruise restaurant.

The 30-year-old fast bowler was spotted in a few pictures taken by the official ICC photographer, where he was standing with the World Cup trophy on the deck and the famous Atal Bridge in the background.

According to Modi, Cummins also gave an interview on-board the cruise vessel.
The Australian captain said, "Wow, what a wonderful place," according to the director of Akshar Travels.

"The Australian skipper was very impressed by the view. We gave him background information about the riverfront and the Atal Bridge. He told us that the place has many similarities with Sydney Harbour (in Australia)," he said.

A 300-metre pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Sabarmati River was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2022. It bears the name of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a BJP stalwart and former prime minister.
