Jasprit Bumrah once again proved why is dubbed as one of the great bowlers of the current generation in the World Cup match against England at the Ekana stadium in Lucknow on October 29, Sunday.
Bumrah's exceptional bowling prowess was on full display when he delivered two back-to-back magical deliveries to turn the face of the match. With just 229 to defend India kicked off their bowling against star-studded England's batting line-up.

Meanwhile, put to bat first, Indian batters found it tough to score freely at the Ekana pitch. The scoreboard read a paltry 40/3 by the 12th over, hinting at a possible collapse. However, captain Rohit Sharma came to India's rescue and scored a robust 87-run knock off 101 balls. His partnership with KL Rahul, who contributed a measured 39 off 58 too was instrumental. And as the innings approached its conclusion, Suryakumar Yadav's calculated 49 off 47 gave India a respectable total to defend.
For England David Willey bowled a magnificent spell of 3/35 which was well complemented by Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid's two wickets apiece.
