Team India captain Rohit Sharma played another spectacular knock in the ongoing edition of the ODI World Cup on October 14 (Saturday). After scoring a blistering century against Afghanistan, the 'Hitman' roared at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and destroyed Pakistan's bowling attack with utmost disdain. In his pulverising knock of 86 runs from just 63 balls, the stylish right-handed batter smashed six sixes and as many boundaries before being dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.
It was another record-breaking outing for Rohit as he became the first Indian and third overall batter to smash 300 sixes in ODIs. Talking about sixes, Rohit was spotted flexing his muscles at the on-field umpire Marais Erasmus during the live match when he smacked a gigantic six. After the game, Rohit revealed the reason behind flexing his muscles at the umpire.
"He was asking me 'how are you able to hit such sixes. Is there something in your bat.' I told him, no, it's not the bat. it's all power," Rohit told Hardik in a video shared by the BCCI.
