Santner's impact in the field is underscored by his ability to save a total of nine runs, a testament to his agility and quick reflexes. Additionally, he has excelled in categories such as pressure ratings, good throws, and attempted run-outs, further solidifying his reputation as a top-notch fielder.

As a result of his exceptional fielding performance, Santner currently holds a narrow lead in the race for overall fielding impact among players at the World Cup. His closest challengers in this regard include South Africa's David Miller and Australia's David Warner.

In team fielding ratings, it's South Africa that leads the pack. The Proteas have excelled in this department, securing a total of 44 catches – seven more than any other team in the tournament. Furthermore, they have also accumulated the highest number of runs saved in the field, totaling 44.

Netherlands finds itself in second place in the team fielding ratings, primarily due to their impressive performance in minimizing dropped catches, with just six to their name. Reigning champions England occupy the third spot in this category, having dropped the fewest catches, a mere four, during the course of the World Cup.
