Ahead of the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup where India and Pakistan are slated to cross swords against each other, former Men in Green pacer Aaqib Javed has taken shots at two superstars of Indian cricket - Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Javed, an ODI World Cup winner, said that a couple of Indian stars will not be seen playing international cricket after the quadrennial competition later in the year.

Javed said that Indian players have become 'larger than life' which is making the team management's task a lot more challenging. The ex-Pakistan pacer exuded confidence in Babar Azam's brigade to beat India in the ODI World Cup.

"Many a times you head into World Cup thinking this might the last for a couple of players. This time I feel it is happening to India. When stars become larger than life, it becomes difficult for team management to make decisions. That is why of look and compare all the departments, Pakistan have a very good chance this time," Javed said in conversation with 'Events & Happenings Sports'.

Javed was extremely critical of Indian captain Rohit Sharma and ex-skipper Virat Kohli. For Rohit, Javed said that the 'Hitman' will not be around for a long time while for Kohli, the ex-Pakistan pacer said that stylish batter lacks consistency of Babar Azam.

"How long is Rohit Sharma going to play? About Kohli, if you compare him with Babar, then he has one outstanding season and then there is a decline. He is a brilliant player but in patches. He is not as consistent as Babar. That is why I'm saying this is Pakistan best chance to beat India again in a World Cup match," he said.

India and Pakistan are scheduled to lock horns on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Before that, the two arch-rival will go toe-to-toe in Asia Cup where they are scheduled face each other at least twice.
