They were all eager to catch a glimpse of Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, celebrating their T20 World Cup victory in an open-top bus parade. The trophy itself became a star attraction, drawing a massive crowd that brought traffic along the parade route to a standstill. The excitement wasn't limited to the fans. Media outlets were out in full force, capturing every moment of the team's return. Even the open-top bus, which had set out from Wankhede Stadium to pick up the players, got caught in the throng of supporters at Marine Drive. Police intervention was needed to clear a path and allow the bus to continue its journey. Clearly, Mumbai was ready to party. One fan's dedication to catching a glimpse of the victory parade has gone viral. A video circulating online shows a determined supporter perched on a tree branch, getting an eye-level view of the entire celebration. This unidentified fan managed to stay hidden until the open-top ‘Vijay Rath’ carrying Team India passed by. The viral footage even captures the fan snapping photos with a camera flash.

Mumbai erupted in a sea of celebration as Team India's victory parade rolled through the city.  An open-top bus, carrying the newly crowned champions and the coveted T20 World Cup trophy, became the focal point of the joyous chaos. Thousands of fans thronged the streets along the route from Marine Drive, their cheers echoing through the city as they awaited a glimpse of their cricketing heroes. This celebratory homecoming wasn't without its hurdles.  Hurricane Beryl had initially stranded the team in Barbados, forcing a delay before they were finally flown back on a special charter flight.  But the challenges only seemed to heighten the euphoria as Mumbai finally got to witness their champions return home in style.
