After winning IPL 2024 title with KKR, Rinku Singh sets his sights on T20 World Cup 2024.

He'll be flying out on May 28 to join the Indian team in New York for T20 World Cup 2024.

KKR's star batter Rinku Singh achieved a lifelong dream by clinching the IPL title with his team in 2024. The emotional victory, celebrated on May 26 at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium, saw Singh filled with joy. He expressed his elation after KKR's title triumph in IPL 2024, stating that this win fulfilled a major aspiration, and his focus now shifts to the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. This victory held even greater significance for Rinku Singh. In a previous interview, he revealed a personal goal of winning a major trophy, specifically the IPL and the T20 World Cup.  His dream took a giant leap forward with KKR's dominant performance in the final. Led by Shreyas Iyer, KKR cruised to an 8-wicket victory over Pat Cummins' SRH, ending a 10-year wait for another IPL title.

After the win, the IPL shared a video of Rinku where he can be heard repeatedly exclaiming 'God's Plan'.

Even though he's listed as a reserve for the T20 World Cup, Singh is determined to make an impact.

He said, "One dream is over, but another is remaining and hopefully it will manifest soon."

The IPL's official account shared a video where a pumped-up Rinku is seen celebrating and yelling.

"Feeling wonderful. I have been with the team for seven years. One dream is over and another is remaining, that is the World Cup. I am the only one going from this team (laughs)," Rinku was heard saying in the video.

Speaking after the match, Rinku Singh expressed the fulfillment of a long-held dream. While he's been a part of the KKR franchise for a significant amount of time, it's only been the past two seasons where he's truly cemented his place with consistent playing time.

"Outstanding feeling right now. Dream has come true - I have been here for 7 years and we are so happy. Credit to Gautam Gambhir sir. I will finally lift the IPL trophy," Rinku Singh said after the match.

Elated after the victory, Rinku Singh was seen embracing Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of KKR, and expressing his belief that things were unfolding according to 'God's plan'. This sentiment might hold even more weight considering his recent omission from the final 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup. While Rinku's snub surprised many, India coach Rahul Dravid emphasised the decision aimed to achieve a better team balance. Despite not making the main squad, Rinku's strong performance earned him a spot as a reserve. He'll be flying out on May 28 to join the Indian team in New York, for the T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to start from June 2.
