Indian cricket team's captain Rohit Sharma was hit by the ball in his left hand during net practice. Well this was the second time that Rohit was hit by the ball in could of days. He was also forced to retire hurt after hitting a fifty in the match against Ireland. Now this incident happened just before the much crucial India vs Pakistan clash which will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, on June 9 (Sunday).
Rohit Sharma hit with ball in the nets
As per a report from Dainik Jagran, Rohit was batting in the nets and Sri Lankan throwdown specialist Nuwan was bowling to him. One of the balls hit Rohit on his left-hand glove after which, he left the nets in Kentige Park as he appeared to be in pain but later after meeting the support staff and physios, he returned to practice. It did not appear to be bothering later on but the Men in Blue can not afford any casualty here, especially not a player like Rohit Sharma
Team India are coming off with a dominant win against Ireland. Both their batters and bowlers put on a really good performance against the Irish side. Now they would try to continue it against their arch-rivals Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan's confidence has taken a lot of hit following their loss against the co-host United States in their opening game, which went to the super over.
