The celebrations don't seem to stop and they should not stop at all as the Indian cricket team has finally arrived home after ending its 11-year-long ICC trophy drought by winning the prestigious T20 World Cup 2024 after defeating South Africa in the Finals of the mega tournament in Kensington Oval. The Men in Blue were stuck in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl and were rescued by the special charter plane AIC24WC, which stands for AirIndia Champions24WorldCup which brought the Indian heroes home safely.
Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav's epic bhangra moves
After arriving in New Delhi, Team India headed towards their hotel rooms where they were welcomed by dhols. Star players Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav could not hold back and grooved on the dhols. Their epic moves set the tone for the celebration.

Team to meet PM Modi
Now that the team has arrived at their hotel in Delhi. They will be heading towards the PMO house to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi around 9:30 AM. The meeting is expected to happen around 11:00 AM. However, this is not the end of their plans as they will be taking a flight to Mumbai afterwards.
Victory parade in Mumbai
The Men in Blue side will be doing a kilometer-long open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium with the T20 World Cup trophy to celebrate their win upon thier arrival in Mumbai. This will be followed by a celebration and felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede in the evening.
Jay Shah and Rohit Sharma urge fans to join the victory parade
Both BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Indian captain Rohit Sharma have requested the fans to join them in their celebrations and the victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede as they celebrate the fampus victory in the Finals of the T20 World Cup 2024.
"Join us for the Victory Parade honouring Team India's World Cup win! Head to Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards to celebrate with us! Save the date! #TeamIndia," BCCI secretary Jay Shah wrote on Twitter
"We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let's celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards. It's coming home," Rohit posted on 'X'.
