The whole nation was waiting for the arrival of their heroes, the Indian cricket team after their historic win in the Finals of the T20 World Cup 2024. The ITC Maurya Hotel, where Team India put up following their arrival in New Delhi from Barbados in the special charter plane AIC24WC, which stands for AirIndia Champions24WorldCup, prepared a special three-floor cake for the Men in Blue side. What made the cake special was the chocolate-made T20 World Cup trophy on top of it. A tricolor cake with a World Cup trophy was made to welcome the Indian team.
Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli cut the cake
Before leaving for the PMO house, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma and the batting maestro Virat Kohli cut the special cake. The video of which is now going viral all over the internet at a rapid pace. Fans are sharing these clips on social media.

Rohit Sharma walked out of the Delhi airport with the precious T20 World Cup trophy in his hand, despite heavy rain in the morning Indian fans were waiting for their heroes outside the airport and the moment the Indian team stepped outside to board their team bus, they were welcomed by massive cheers. A proud Rohit Sharma lifted the trophy over his head to greet the fans present outside the airport and the whole crowd present there got more excited after that. He even gestured with the trophy toward the fan after boarding the bus
Team India to meet PM Modi before leaving for Mumbai
Team India reached their hotel room following thier much-awaited arrival in New Delhi. They will now be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi before flying to Mumbai where further celebrations will take place. They will be doing a kilometer-long open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium with the T20 World Cup trophy.
