Shivam Dube has been included in India's squad for the upcoming T20I series against Zimbabwe. Shivam Dube has been announced replacement for the injured Nitish Reddy. Notably, the BCCI Medical Team is monitoring Nitish Reddy’s progress. India are slated to play Zimbabwe in the five-match T20I series in Harare, starting from July 6, 2024.
Big blow to Nitish Reddy
Nitish Reddy earlier earned maiden India call-up on the back of a phenomenal IPL 2024 campaign with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He amassed 303 runs and scalped three wickets, playing a vital role in their journey to the finals. His impressive performances were further recognized as he was awarded the Emerging Player of the Season. Meanwhile, Shivam Dube, who played for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, remains part of the current Indian squad participating in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
"The Men's Selection Committee named Shivam Dube as a replacement for the injured Nitish Reddy in India's squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe. The BCCI Medical Team is monitoring Nitish Reddy's progress," the BCCI said in a statement.

Three World Cup Players to Feature in Zimbabwe Series
While only Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson were initially selected for the Zimbabwe series from India's T20 World Cup squad, Shivam Dube has now been added to the lineup. This brings the total number of World Cup players participating in Zimbabwe to three.
