India to take on Afghanistan in match 43 of T20 World Cup 2024.

This is the first Super 8 game for both India and Afghanistan.

Check Barbados weather forecast.

Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team will be taking on Rashid Khan's Afghanistan in match 43 of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, on June 20 (Thursday). This is also the first Super 8 game for the Men in Blue side. Everyone has their eyes on this clash but is also worried that rain and bad weather might play spoilsport during the match proceedings. Both teams will be eyeing a winning start to their campaign in this round of competition.

Each win and each game is extremely crucial at this stage as the semi-final spots are on the line. This is also India's first game in this mega tournament which they will play on the Caribbean soil. Even a single loss or potential washout can hamper a team's qualification chances.

The Barbados weather forecast predicts a very slight chance of rain. The precipitation chances are only 0 to 20 percent, so it is unlikely of it to play spoilsport. Earlier, a couple of games were abandoned due to rain as well. Hopefully, this won't be the sight during today's game and the match can proceed and have a result even with a few interruptions. If rain causes a washout both teams will have to share a point.
