Highlights:

India to take on Australia in match 51 of T20 World Cup 2024.

This is the final Super 8 game for both India and Australia.

Check the St Lucia weather forecast.

Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team will be competing against Mitchell Marsh's Australia in match 51 of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia, on June 24 (Monday). This is also the final Super 8 game for both, the Men in Blue side and the Aussies. Everyone has their eyes on this clash but is also worried that rain and bad weather might play spoilsport during the match proceedings. Both teams will be eyeing a win here to ensure their semi-final qualification

This is a must-win game for the Australian side as losing this would put their fate in the hands of Bangladesh. India is in a much safer position but would like to enter the next round of competition with a big win over a team like Australia.

The St Lucia weather forecast predicts thunderstorms and heavy chances of rain. The precipitation chances will go up to 90 to 100 per cent, so it will likely play spoilsport. Earlier, a couple of games were abandoned due to rain as well. Hopefully, this won't be the sight during today's game and the match can proceed and have a result even with a few interruptions. If rain causes a washout both teams will have to share a point.
