The Indian cricket team led by captain Rohit Sharma which won the just-concluded edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 has finally arrived in New Delhi in the special charter plane AIC24WC, which stands for AirIndia Champions24WorldCup that was arranged by BCCI to rescue Team India stranded in in Barbados due to airport closure because of the Hurricane Beryl's impact. Indian team will head towards their hotel and after that, they will leave for the PMO house to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi around 9:30 AM.
Team India leaves without collecting luggage
The Indian contingent already has a tight schedule right from the point of arrival in New Delhi. They would be going to their hotel and then will be off to meet PM Modi at the PMO house around 9:30 AM. The schedule was so tight that they did not even collect their luggage at the airport. The airport and BCCI staff will collect it on their behalf and send it to their hotel rooms.
