Nicholas Pooran rattles Aussies

Apart from him, captain Powell smashed 52 off 25 balls and the finishing touches were provided by Sherfane Rutherford who hit 47 runs off just 18 balls. Australia was clearly under power as Marsh was not bowling and six of their star players were not available to play in the match.

At the time of the chase, Aussies were clear with their approach as they went after the target. However, their aggressive approach resulted in constant breakthroughs and they fell short of 35 runs. Despite not having a full-strength squad, Australia performed well and should be confident ahead of the marquee event.
