West Indies perish under pressure
West Indies struggled in their chase of 142, managing to score only 121 runs for 8 wickets. Alice Capsey was the only England batter to score a significant number of runs, top-scoring with 40. England was eventually bowled out for 129, losing by 33 runs. The T20 World Cup begins on Thursday, October 3, with Bangladesh facing Scotland. England's first match is against Bangladesh on Saturday, October 5.
Australia's total of 162-6 was built on Beth Mooney's 50-run innings and contributions from all-rounders Tahlia McGrath and Ash Gardner.
