WTC Final 2023, Weather Report: Ominous signs till Day 3, forecast of rain on Day 4 and Day 5 for India vs Australia clash at The Oval

The upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and Australia promises to provide edge-of-the-seat entertainment to cricket fans around the world. Having said that, the weather might play a big role at The Oval. 

If you remember the 2021 WTC final between India and New Zealand that was held in Southampton, the match was constantly interrupted by rain. This time though, the forecast in London during the five days of the WTC final presents a slightly better picture. According to the Meteorological Department data, London will receive bright sunshine during the opening three days of the Test match. On Day 4 and Day 5, rain has been predicted during the final session of each day's play.

In England, the weather is extremely fickle and it changes its course swiftly. Cricket fans around the world would hope for the skies to remain free from dark clouds. In case, time is lost due to rain on the first five days of the final, June 12 has been kept as a reserve day.
