Ex-SA player brutally criticise Rohit Sharma.

A lot of fingers have been raised at Indian captain Rohit Sharma after a lacklustre performance in Test cricket. India's concerns in the present Border Gavaskar Trophy have been exacerbated by the captain's poor performance, which has prevented him from truly getting things going. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah took the lead and led India to a spectacular victory in Perth by 295 runs. But despite taking charge in Adelaide, the captain who won the T20 World Cup 2024 earlier this year was unable to guide the team to victory and had to face a thrashing loss by 10 wickets.

Daryll Cullinan's criticise Rohit Sharma

The Indian captain fell to a new low as Rohit could only manage to score nine runs in the pink ball Test. He has also been facing criticism over the captaincy and many fans on the internet are talking about Bumrah taking over the captaincy. Daryll Cullinan, a former South African player, unleashed an unmerciful attack on Rohit after the player received harsh criticism for his dismal batting performance.

"Look at Rohit, then at Virat. Notice the difference in their physical condition. Rohit is overweight, and not a long-term cricketer anymore. Rohit is not in a good physical condition to play in a four or a five-match Test series," Daryll Cullinan told InsideSport.

Rohit Sharma-led India side work hard ahead of Gabba Test

The Indian players were seen working hard in the nets following a 10-wicket thrashing in Adelaide. The team reached Brisbane on December 11 (Wednesday)n and took part in their first nets session. All of them were working hard to overcome their shortcomings that has led to their dismal performances in the first two games.

After facing the spinners initially, India's captain Rohit Sharma had to endure a fierce spell from Navdeep Saini, Yash Dayal, and left-arm throw-downs with an emphasis on leaving deliveries that were coming outside the off stump.
