On the second day of the first Test match between India and Bangladesh, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj and Bangladesh batter Litton Das were involved in a heated exchange that ultimately led to the latter's downfall. The incident occurred on the first ball of the 14th over during Bangladesh's innings when Das defended Siraj's delivery, only to see the Indian pacer chirping at him. The Bangladesh batter didn't back down and walked towards Siraj, signaling that he didn't hear anything. The on-field umpire stepped in and the heated moment was temporarily resolved.
On the very next ball, Siraj got his revenge as forced a false defensive shot from Das and castled the Bangladesh batter's woodwork. The verbal altercation on the previous delivery would have certainly played a part. It's a mental sport after all. After dismissing Das, Siraj celebrated in a cheeky manner and took a dig at the Bangladesh batter. Former India captain Virat Kohli also chimed in and his reaction went viral on social media.

Das, who led Bangladesh to a 2-1 ODI series win over India last week, departed after scoring 24 runs off 30 balls with the help of five boundaries.
Earlier, India managed to post a good total of 404 in the first innings at Zahur Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. In Day 2's second session, India added 126 runs on the board despite losing the wicket of Shreyas Iyer early in the day. The gritty eighth-wicket partnership of 92 runs between Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav helped India recover and cross the 400-run mark.
Iyer could not do much damage on Day 2 as he could add just four runs to his score before getting bowled by Ebadot Hossain. He scored 86 runs from 192 deliveries including 10 boundaries.
