Team India's pocket-size dynamo Ishan Kishan exploded at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, and the sound of explosion echoed throughout the cricket fraternity. The left-handed power-hitter smashed a stunning double-century and shattered several records in the third ODI against Bangladesh on December 10 (Saturday). Kishan came into the lineup to replace injured captain Rohit Sharma and grabbed his opportunity with both hands to put India in the driving seat.
The 24-year-old played an outrageous knock of 210 runs in 131 balls and trounced Bangladesh's bowling attack without breaking a sweat. During his majestical knock, the southpaw whacked 24 fours and 10 sixes. Kishan put on an absolute masterclass of stroke-making and swaggered his way into the record books. The left-handed batter became the fastest double-centurion in ODI cricket, breaking West Indies legend Chris Gayle's record.
Kishan reached the milestone with a single on the off-side and his celebration revealed what the knock meant to him. The southpaw set off in ecstasy. both arms in the air and huge roar of delight.

On the back of Kishan's outstanding knock and Virat Kohli's 113 runs off 91 balls, India posted their fourth-highest total in ODIs. After 50 overs, Indian managed to score 409/8.
Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Litton Das won the toss and opted to field against India in the third and final ODI. Bangladesh made two changes with Taskin Ahmed and Yasir Ali coming in place of Nasum Ahmed and Najmul Hossain Shanto respectively. India captain KL Rahul said his team has also effected two changes, deciding to play Ishan Kishan and Kuldeep Yadav in place of the injured Rohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar. Hosts Bangladesh have already won the series with victories in the first two matches.
