1. Former India captain MS Dhoni is at the top. Dhoni has scored 778 runs from 12 Tests at an average of 37.04 againt England in England. He has eight half-centuries to his name as well.

2. Australia's Rodney Marsh holds the second spot. He played 21 Tests in England and scored 773 runs from 35 innings at an average of 24.93, including six half-centuries. Like Dhoni, he was dismissed in 90s and missed out on a chance to score a century.

3. South Africa's John Waite occupies the third spot. He scored 684 runs from 14 Tests at an average of 29.73, including one century and six half-centuries.

4. Another legendary wicketkeeper-batter from Australia on the list is Ian Healy. He scored 684 runs from 18 Tests at an average of 31.20, including one century and three half-centuries.

5. West Indies' Jeff Dujon played 15 Tests against England in England. From 20 innings, he scored 604 runs at an average of 31.78, including one century and four half-centuries.

6. Former India captain Farokh Engineer is sixth on the list. From just nine Tests, he scored 563 runs at an average of 37.53, including four half-centuries. His high score in England was 87.
