India faced England in the second ODI on Thursday and were condemned to a massive 100-run loss at the hands of their hosts. Present in the stadium to witness the massive loss were two legends of the game — Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and MS Dhoni. During the first innings when the home side were put to bat, Raina shared pictures with Dhoni and Harbhajan, all of whom were part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Dhoni, who is still the skipper of CSK, although both Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh have moved on, was also spotted interacting with the India players after the team's series-clinching win in the second T20I in Birmingham. The World Cup-winning India captain spoke to the likes of Ishan Kishan and Yuzvendra Chahal, and photos of the meeting were uploaded on social media by the BCCI.

Raina, who retired from international cricket two years ago along with MS Dhoni, with the pair making the mega announcement in August 2020, wrote, “Great watching the boys in blue @harbhajan_singh @msdhoni”. Dhoni is currently in the United Kingdom and was recently also seen enjoying a match at Wimbledon.

To recap the match, England set India a target of 247, and the visitors lost skipper Rohit early in the innings. Topley troubled Rohit with swing and got him out for a 10-ball duck in the third over. Shikhar Dhawan struggled to rotate the strike and became Topley's second victim in his first spell.

The English bowler finished with a record-breaking 6/24 as England thrashed India by 100 runs to level the three-game series, with Topley surpassing Paul Collingwood's previous England best of 6/31 against Australia at Trent Bridge in 2005.

England and India now head to Manchester for the final game of the ODI series on Sunday, July 17.
