While Pakistan's Babar Azam maintains his lead in the ODI batting rankings, Gill, with 743 rating points, is inching closer to third-placed Fakhar Zaman (755) and fourth-placed Imam-ul-Haq (745).

Prominent Indian players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are currently at the ninth and 11th positions respectively.

Gains for Hardik, Kuldeep, Shardul

Hardik Pandya, the Baroda all-rounder who showcased his prowess with the ball in the series, jumped five places, settling at 11th in the ODI all-rounders' rankings. In the bowling rankings, Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur have made remarkable strides. Yadav, after claiming seven wickets against West Indies, is now in the top 10 at the 10th position. Thakur, on the other hand, topped the series with eight wickets, propelling him three places up to 30th.

Shubman Gill have had a mix runs in the West Indies series. Despite string of low scores in the first two ODIs, Gill showcased his batting might in the third match, scoring a remarkable 85 off 92 balls. However, his fluctuating form sparked debates about his readiness for international games.

Conversely, Ishan Kishan's consistency was the talk of the series. With three half-centuries in three games, Kishan played a pivotal role in India's series victory against West Indies, consolidating his position as a trusted opener for the Indian side.
