India and West Indies are gearing up to cross swords in the third and decisive ODI game on August 1 (Tuesday). With the series locked at 1-1, both teams are starring at a do-or-die outcome. The Men in Blue won the opening game of the series in a rather comfortable manner while the Men in Maroon downed India in the 2nd ODI without even breaking a sweat. The 3rd ODI in Trinidad is likely to provide thrilling action as the series is on the line.

Ace India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja exuded confidence in the team's ability to close out West Indies in a do-or-die game. Ahead of the final match of the ODI series, Jadeja affirmed that the players will give their best and win the series.

"We are very confident and not in any doubt. We know we lost one game but it is okay, it is part of the game. If you are trying something different, this can happen. We are definitely going to give our best and win the series," Jadeja said ahead of the 3rd ODI.

India suffered a shock defeat in the second ODI as West Indies stormed back and leveled the series 1-1 with one more ODI to be played. In a game in which captain Rohit Sharma and maverick batter Virat Kohli were rested in order to hand other players a chance, the visitors shot themselves into the foot and fizzled out for just 181 runs while batting first. The abysmal show with the bat put India behind the eight ball and Men in Maroon capitalised on the momentum to seal a six-wicket win.

With the series now level at 1-1, it would be very unlikely and even surprising if Rohit and Virat miss the 3rd ODI. The two mainstays of Indian batting line-up have been in terrific form and in a do-or-die game, the Men in Blue would bank on their experience to get the job done.
