South Africa's and Gujarat Titans' star batter David Miller tied the knot with his long-term partner Camilla Harris in Cape Town. Known for his stunning left-handed batting who will be seen in action during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Miller took to social media to post photos and videos from the event, which was attended by close friends and family. Fellow cricketers Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, and Mark Boucher were among the notable guests at the celebration. Camilla, a professional polo player, has been supportive of Miller, even visiting India to support him during the IPL 2023.

Camilla's journey is equally captivating. In 2019, she made the bold decision to leave her corporate job to follow her entrepreneurial aspirations. Her efforts paid off, and she is now a successful entrepreneur. The marriage of David Miller to Camilla Harris marks a significant milestone in his personal life, complementing his well-documented professional achievements. On August 31, 2023, the 34-year-old cricketer shared the news of their engagement on Instagram, revealing that Camilla had agreed to marry him. He excitedly captioned the post, “She said YES! Camilla Miller, has a nice ring to it right?”

How Miller bursts onto the scene?

David Miller stands out as one of the world's most formidable middle-order batter. Although he made his South Africa debut in 2010, it was his performance in the 2013 IPL that truly kickstarted his career. As the top scorer for Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) with 418 runs, Miller earned his spot in the South African squad for the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and has continued to rise in his career since. David Miller has achieved numerous milestones, including tying the record for the fastest T20I century. Recently, he celebrated a significant personal milestone by marrying his long-term partner and fiancee Camilla Harris, in Cape Town on March 10.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miller took a break from cricket following his stint with the Paarl Royals in the SA20 league, which was held in January and February of this year. The player, nicknamed 'Killer Miller,' is set to return to action in the IPL 2024, playing for the Gujarat Titans, who were the champions in 2022 and the runners-up in 2023. This season, he will be playing under the leadership of the newly-appointed captain, Shubman Gill.

 

Meanwhile, Australia's wicketkeeper Matthew Wade, will be absent from the GT's opening game of the IPL 2024 season. He has chosen to participate in the Sheffield Shield final for Tasmania, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Notably, GT is set to face Mumbai Indians (MI) on March 25.
