Gujarat Titans lost the first four wickets inside the first five overs. Out of these four, Ishant Sharma took two big wickets of captain Shubman Gill and the dangerous David Miller. Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar sent back Wriddhiman Saha and Sai Sudharsan got out in the form of a run-out.

Then Tristan Stubbs grabbed two wickets in the same over and sent back Abhinav Manohar and Impact player Shahrukh Khan. Titans then lost Rahul Tewatia but he too lost his wicket in the 12th over to Axar Patel. Rashid Khan did fight back for a while and scored a gritty 31 off 24 balls but couldn't take his team to a fighting total.

Rashid was the highest scorer for GT and after him, was Sai Sudharsan with 12 runs. Delhi Capitals now have the opportunity to make major gains in the points table and get a big jump in their current position.
