Klaasen on fire for SRH

Heinrich Klaasen has been a revelation for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. The explosive batter has amassed 337 runs in 10 innings at an impressive average of 48 and a blistering strike rate of 189. He currently leads the tournament in sixes hit, smashing a staggering 31 maximums.

Klaasen, alongside teammates Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, has been instrumental in powering SRH to some imposing totals. These include scores of 287-3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore, 277-3 against Mumbai Indians, and a massive 266-7 against Delhi Capitals. SRH's strong showing has them well-positioned for a playoff berth. They've secured six wins in ten matches and require just two more victories from their remaining four to qualify. However, a recent dip in form saw them lose to RCB and CSK. Fortunately, Bhuvneshwar Kumar's heroics in the final over sealed a narrow one-run win against Rajasthan Royals, preventing a third consecutive defeat. Klaasen and his teammates will now look to rediscover their winning ways as they face Mumbai Indians in their next encounter at Wankhede Stadium on May 6.
