Heinrich Klaasen and Jaydev Unadkat both featured in Thursday's match (May 2) when Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) narrowly defeated Rajasthan Royals by one run in Hyderabad, keeping their playoff hopes alive. In that crucial game, Klaasen delivered a vital performance for SRH, hitting an unbeaten 42 from just 19 balls. Meanwhile, Unadkat bowled two overs without claiming any wickets.

Heinrich Klaasen has been a revelation for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. The explosive batter has amassed 337 runs in 10 innings at an impressive average of 48 and a blistering strike rate of 189. He currently leads the tournament in sixes hit, smashing a staggering 31 maximums.
Klaasen, alongside teammates Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, has been instrumental in powering SRH to some imposing totals. These include scores of 287-3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore, 277-3 against Mumbai Indians, and a massive 266-7 against Delhi Capitals. SRH's strong showing has them well-positioned for a playoff berth. They've secured six wins in ten matches and require just two more victories from their remaining four to qualify. However, a recent dip in form saw them lose to RCB and CSK.
