Punjab Kings (PBKS), previously known as Kings XI Punjab, has often been seen as a team that consistently underperforms. Meanwhile, PBKS break bank on former Royal Challengers Bangalore's star pacer Harshal Patel in the IPL 2024 auction. Harshal was sold for a whopping sum of Rs 11.75 crore after a bidding war. Punjab also bought the services of Chris Woakes for Rs 4.20 crore.
