After ending up at the bottom of the points table last season, Sunrisers Hyderabad are aiming for a significant comeback in the next IPL season, beginning with the auction in Dubai on December 19 (Tuesday).
The team has kept 19 players from their previous roster and let go of six. With a budget of 34 crore, the 2016 champions have six positions available to bolster their squad.
Meanwhile, in the bidding war SRH made their intentions clear as they bought the ODI World Cup 2023-winner Travis Head. The Orange army splurged Rs 6.80 crore on the Player of the Match of the ODI World Cup 2023. They didn't stop their, as they went on to turn heads by breaking the bank on Pat Cummins in the second most expensive deal of IPL's history. Cummins hit the jackpot and was sold to SRH for Rs 20.5 crore. Later, SRH also acquired Jaydev Unadkat for Rs 1.60 crore and Wanindu Hasaranga for Rs 1.50 crore.
