KKR batting first posted 272/7 in 20 overs, the second-highest total in IPL history, and then bowled out Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals for just 166 runs.
Young Angkrish Raghuvanshi shined on his debut innings as he smashed 54 runs in just 27 balls. He also joined a match-turning 104-run partnership with Sunil Narine and put the two-time champions on the driving seat. After the match, Angkrish even met the Bollywood sensation and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi revealed that his meeting with the Bollywood celebrity was really special but is not sure if Shah Rukh Khan knows his name or not. SRK hugged and interacted with Angkrish following his astonishing debut IPL innings.
"Obviously, it is very special. I don't know if he knows my name or if he does. But I have seen him on television since my childhood. So meeting him like this feels very nice," said Angkrish.
Angkrish dedicates his celebration to Nitish Rana
Angkrish Raghuvanshi did a celebration by pointing his finger towards his head. It was similar to the celebration of the famous Manchester United football player Marcus Rashford. Later the young KKR batter revealed that this celebration was for his teammate Nitish Rana.
The KKR vice-captain reportedly suffered an injury during the Knights' opening match against Sunriser Hyderabad that forced him to miss the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals.
"I did that celebration for Nitish bhaiya. He is injured and both of us are Manchester United fans. I did that for him," Angkrish added.
