India's young star Rinku Singh could not find a spot for himself in the 15-member Indian T20 World Cup 2024 squad and is also having an underwhelming run in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. However, despite everything the KKR star is nothing but optimistic and motivated. He also expressed his desire to win a trophy at the senior level.

Rinku Singh said he wants to win a big trophy for his country. He also said he wants to lift the T20 World Cup in his hands. The youngster did not express a single ounce of disappointment but instead was scintillating with motivation and optimism.
Since I have played cricket, I have won some trophies at junior level. But not at the senior level. I am going to the World Cup. I want to hold the WC trophy, I hope we win. My dream is to win a big trophy for my country and lift it in my hands," Rinku Singh said in a video posted on the IPL website.
“Time kharab uska hota hai jiske haath pair nahi hote, hamare toh hain. Hamara time kharab nahi hai (Time is bad for someone who does not have his limbs, I have them. I am not going through a bad time),” said Rinku on going through a bad phase

Rinku Singh will feature in the IPL 2024 playoffs ahead of traveling with the Indian cricket team for the marquee tournament. The dynamic batter has not performed as usual but would like to contribute with the bat in the upcoming matches. He will most likely feature in the Qualifier 1 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and would be crucial down the order.

Rinku Singh will be traveling as a reserve along with Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed. He will be traveling with the Rohit Sharma-led team in the West Indies and USA throughout the tournament and will be available as a potential replacement if required.
