“Even Rs 50-55 lakh is a lot. When I started, I didn't even think that I would earn so much. At that time, when I was a child, I felt that if I could get even Rs 10-5, I would do it somehow. Now getting Rs 55 lakh is a lot, one should be happy with whatever God gives. This is my thinking. I don't feel at all that I should have received this much money and that much. I am very happy even with Rs 55 lakh. When this did not happen then it was known how much money is worth,” Rinku Singh told Dainik Jagran.

Rohit Sharma met Rinku Singh after a press conference in Mumbai regarding the T20 World Cup squad. The KKR star did feel a little bad after missing out on the selection but is now fine as he believes that one should not worried about things that are not in their hands. No matter what, one should not think too much about what is not in one's hands. Yes, I was a little worried in the beginning. Okay whatever happened. Whatever happens, happens only for good. Rohit bhaiya did not say anything special. All he said was to just keep working hard. There is the World Cup again after two years. There is no need to worry more. That's all he said to me," said Rinku.
