Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final played at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Rinku Singh was super excited after he lifted the trophy for the first time. He was seen jumping around and also tried to make a vlog along with teammate Nitish Rana.
Rinku took over the camera and asked the fans to like, subscribe, and press the bell icon to stay updated with every activity from his account the KKR star was seen stumbling while recording that clip, here is the video.
Rinku Singh After IPL 2024 victory
KKR picked Rinku in the 2018 IPL season but he has been playing the full tournament for the two seasons. The 26-year-old batter was seen hyperactive after his team lifted the title and he also spoke to the broadcaster and said that his dream had come true.
"Outstanding feeling right now. Dream has come true - I have been here for 7 years and we are so happy. Credit to GG sir. I will finally lift the IPL trophy," Rinku Singh said.
Rinku was also seen hugging Shah Rukh Khan after the game and saying that God's plan had finally come off. Rinku was unable to bat as it was expected due to the top order of the franchise. He scored 168 runs in this season with a strike rate of 148.67 and his highest score was 26.
Rinku will now travel to the USA along with Indian cricketers who will feature in the T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled to start from June 2. He will likely to be seen in action during India's warm-up match against Bangladesh. Rinku only finds a place amongst the reserves along with pacers Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.
