Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) owner Vijay Mallya praised his franchise ahead of their IPL 2024 Eliminator clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on May 22. Indian businessman also lavished praise on star batter Virat Kohli for his impressive performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Mallya said that his inner instinct while bidding for Virat told him that he could not have made better choices. Kohli is the highest run-getter of the tournament. Mallya also feels that this is the best chance for Faf & Co. to win the trophy.
Mallya brought RCB in 2008 but after he defaulted on loans and left India, the franchise wrote to BCCI in 2016, intimating them of his resignation from the post of Director of Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited (RCSPL).
Mallya generally tweets on Bank holidays and this time he tweeted on a normal day. Fans started trolling RCB owner for his tweet here is his tweet and viral memes.
“When I bid for the RCB franchise and I bid for Virat, my inner instinct told me that I could not have made better choices. My inner instinct tells me that RCB have the best chance to go for the IPL Trophy. Onward and Upward. Best of luck” Tweeted Mallya.
