Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru picked up a massive 47-run win over Delhi Capitals in match 62 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, on May 12 (Sunday). RCB have increased their chance to qualify for the playoffs with this stunning win. Virat Kohli's wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma's epic ‘thank god’ reaction after their win sums up how important this victory was for the fan-favourite franchise.

Anushka was extremely excited after the win and right after she had an expression of having some ‘sense of relief’ which was followed by a ‘Namaste’ gesture. The video of Anushka's reaction to RCB's win is now going viral all across the social space at a rapid pace.

How can RCB seal the playoff spot

RCB have become the first team to win five consecutive games this season. They are now at the fifth spot on the points table and have become one of the contenders with the opportunity to seal the playoff spot. They will be facing CSK in the final game and to get a better net run rate than the defending champions, RCB would have to either beat them by 18 runs or chase their target within 18.1 overs assuming they score 200 batting first.

However, their qualification can't be ensured just by beating CSK as LSG and DC are still in contention for the same spot. They need to hope that LSG either loose both their matches or if they win one of their two matches it should be by a really small margin. DC will be playing their final game against LSG and RCB will also have to see that DC don't pick up a mammoth win against Lucknow.
