David Warner's unbeaten 92 runs off 58 balls was enough to take Delhi Capitals (DC) to an above-par score as his side beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 21 runs during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, May 5.
The Australian opener was ably supported by Rovman Powell's unbeaten 35-ball 67 runs as Warner carried the bat for his team against his former side SRH. The 35-year-old's dominating innings pushed him into the top five, placing him in fourth, just above Abhishek Sharma.
Meanwhile, Aiden Markram's 42 runs off just 25 balls were not enough to win his side the match but were just enough to push him into the top four, making him the second SRH player after the uncapped Indian Abhishek as well as the second Proteas player after Faf du Plessis to enter the top 10.
