Shreyas Iyer hit a 37-ball 42 in Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) losing cause against Delhi Capitals, moving him to the fifth spot on the points table. The KKR skipper was unable to lead his team to a defendable score as they went on to lose by four wickets against DC in what was an easy win for the Delhi-based franchise. Meanwhile, David Warner hit 42 runs in 26 runs to move back into the top 10 of the Orange Cap.
Jos Buttler continues his monopoly at the top of the Orange Cap standings. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul will have a chance to catch up with the top-rooted Buttler when LSG take on Punjab kings (PBKS) at the MCA stadium in Pune on Friday night.
